Yahya Maroofi

H.E. M. Yahya Maroofi

 

Until the opening of the Embassy of Afghanistan in Stockholm and the appointment of H.E. Dr. Haami as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Afghanistan to Sweden the Embassy of Afghanistan in Norway was accredited to Sweden as well.

H.E. Ambassador M.Y. Maroofi was appointed the first Afghan ambassador to Norway by President Hamid Karzai in 2004, and was officially accredited to the court of Norway on October 6th, 2004. H.E. Maroofi served as Ambassador to Norway and non-resident envoy to Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland until May 2007.

Jawed Ludin

H.E. Jawed Ludin

H.E. Ambassador Jawed Ludin was appointed Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Norway by President Hamid Karzai in 2007, and was officially accredited to the court of Norway on May 31st, 2007. H.E. Ludin served as Ambassador to Norway and non-resident envoy to Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland until June 2009.

Manizha Bakhtari

H.E. Manizha Bakhtari

H.E Ambassador Manizha Bakhtari was appointed as Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Norway by President Hamid Karzai in 2009, and was officially accredited to the court of Norway on November 5th, 2009. H.E. Manizha Bakhtari serves as ambassador to Norway and non-resident envoy to Denmark, Finland and Iceland. H.E. served as non-resident envoy to Sweden until the opening of the Afghanistan’s Embassy in Stockholm.

Afghanistan opened its Embassy in Sweden in November 2013 and H.E. Dr Hameed Haami presented his letters of credentials to H.M King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden on the 20th of March 2014 as the first resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Afghanistan to Sweden.
